The APWG eCrime 2026 Lisboa symposium will examine responses to cybercrime and showcase the latest research into counter-cybercrime techniques and technologies.
APWG eCrime is a peer-reviewed, publishing research conference focused exclusively on cybercrime. The IEEE Computer Society’s Technical Community on Security & Privacy is the technical sponsor of the 2026 event.
Erin West, founder of Operation Shamrock will speak on the disruption of “pig-butchering” financial crimes on the second day of the event.
The symposium will focus on the most consequential cybercrime threats — from software development supply-chain attacks and cybercrime scam camps to the rise of cybercriminal states — and identify interventions to address them.
